Limousin is rich in history and full of small and interesting villages, each with their own special features.
Among them, discover Collonges-La-Rouge, a village built entirely of red stone, with enchanting narrow streets filled with buzzing markets. Visit Limoges, stroll along its streets and appreciate the local architecture and crafts. A trip to the cathedral of Saint Etienne is a must, and perhaps a tour of the ceramic museum, which traces the history of the city's own porcelain production.
The region also has many hiking and cycling trails in a landscape straight out of a fairy tale, in places like Lake Vassivière and Monts de Guéret.
Limousin is the least populated area of France so, most of all, here, you are guaranteed peace and connection with nature.
